Miss Alabama and I met when I adopted her from BVSPCA a year after my two senior dogs passed away. After looking at a lot of adorable pups and dogs, she and I made eye contact and I knew instantly that she was my kind of crazy. Miss Alabama aka Ginger is a second chance pup from a high risk shelter in Alabama. She was 4 months old when she was brought to Pennsylvania. Her paperwork said she was a boy named Lucas and I said oh no girl, you are Miss Alabama, princess of all Maryland now. When the South met North, Miss Alabama discovered she liked running, hiking, boating, crabbing and licking Old Bay off of crab shells. She's been the best dog ever.
