Pet Photo Contest Rules

How to Enter a Pet

  1. Click on the “Register Your Pet” button and create your pet's page by following the creation process. Make sure to name the page after your pet, such as Alexander the Frenchie or Lilly the Calico.
  2. Upload your pet’s digital photo as the profile image.
  3. Upload the photo you want to represent your pet in the contest: Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the blank box > click on Add Slide > click on Upload Image > Click on the Done button to finish out your upload. Your fabulous companion will then be large and in charge on your page for the world to vote on!
  4. Add a brief description of how you found each other or an inspirational story of them overcoming life’s challenges.
  5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
  6. You will then need to complete your own personal page to finish out the registration process. This serves as your personal account to link you and your pet, but it won't be used as your voting/fundraising page; all votes will be on our pet's page.

Entries may be submitted from August 31, 2018 at 12:00 AM EST to September 30, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST. Your name and contact information will be collected during the registration process so that we can notify you if your pet wins.

Contest Rules

Submitted photos must feature a cat or dog only. No people or body parts allowed.

All submitted photos must be the original work of the entrant. NO copyrighted or professional photos please.

Only one pet per photo submission.

Voting will commence from August 31, 2018 at 12:00 AM EST to September 30, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST.

Submission fees are $10/submission. Voting fees are $1/vote (minimum 5 votes). The 13 pets with the most votes will win a spot in the Brandywine Valley SPCA’s calendar.

Once entered, submitted photos become the property of the Brandywine Valley SPCA to be used for print and marketing purposes.

Submitted photos may be shared on as well as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
