Peanut was rescued by local no-kill organization NARPS, Noah's Ark Rescue Project & Sanctuary, from an over crowded shelter in Philadelphia. Peanut was found scared and shaking in her cage by a volunteer there. Her last people had not been very kind to her. Her body was covered in marks and even tumors too.
Thanks to her rescue, Peanut came home with that volunteer, as her foster, and was given medical attention and all the love and care she could ever want. She has made a full recovery thanks to Malvern Vet and Penn Veterinary Hospital and was adopted by her family. Peanut is now a foster mom herself! She helps take care of the many other sick and scared animals her family takes in, until they are ready for adoption! Peanut was given a second chance by her lovely rescue and many more animals are given this chance through dedicated rescues everyday!!
BVSPCA is one of these very special no-kill organizations and we are looking for your votes and your support to help them!
Plus Peanut wouldn't mind at all being a star on next year's calendar!
