Over the past 2 years, team Madison Juniper participated in the American Heart Association’s Capital Region Heart Walk. This year, I would like to support and celebrate 30 incredible years of The Children’s Heart Foundation. The CHF’s crucial mission is advancing the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before.

In 2022, our Heart Warrior, Madison was born with 5 critical heart defects. She has endured two open heart surgeries and will need more in the future. It is because of medical advancements that she is here with us today.

Congenital heart disease is a life long journey. I will run to support her and all Heart Warriors. We invite everyone to support our fundraising efforts. Together, we can raise funds essential to continue the life-saving research that turns heartbreak into hope.

iRun LOCAL is hosting their first half marathon event in Saratoga Springs, NY on September 20, 2026. Team Madison Juniper will participate in the race to raise awareness for CHD.
