Cormac, Otis, Duece, and Stacey CHS

Hi! We are Otis, Cormac, Duece, & Stacey!

Otis!

Otis is 73 pounds of happy, shy, wiggly, 1-year-old Pit Bull/Hound Mix. In short, he is adorable, but he's a whole lot of adorable that could use some exercise and training. Otis is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for Heartworm. Currently, he needs to be the only dog in the home. That may change once he's out of the shelter. Even though he's a big boy he's timid around new people and new experiences. Otis is an active dog that would do best in an active family. If you like the big dogs check out Otis. We think you'll be happy you did.

Cormac!

Cormac is a young, 2-year-old, medium-sized, sweet, Pit Bull mix. This boy is super loving and playful. He seems OK with most dogs. Cats are an unknown. Cormac transferred here from another shelter, so we don't have any history for him. However, his joyful, lovable personality is very apparent. Cormac is neutered, current on shots, microchipped and tested negative for Heartworm.

Duece!

Duece is a 7-year-old sweetheart. He is a brown and black tiger-striped cat. Duece is a very interactive cat and just wants to be with his person. He is a chunky little cuddle bug, who likes his human and is a lap kitty. He is very talkative, and very affectionate and will love you as much as you love him. Duece has an adoption fee of $40, is neutered, up to date on shots, as well as tested negative for FIV. However, Duece tested positive for FeLV.

FeLV is the feline form of Leukemia. It's a blood disease, similar to FIV. With regular vet care, and being kept indoors, Duece can live a semi-normal life. Duece does need to be the only cat in the home. He can't even go to a home with other FeLV+ cats, because we don't want to risk the resident cat and Duece's immune systems.

He does also have a cauliflower ear. Cauliflower ear is caused by ear infections and left untreated, can cause swelling and deformities. He will need special care for his ear for the remainder of his life. The adoption staff can tell you more about both FELV and Cauliflower ear when you call or stop by.
