Pepper and Ranger were both taken into shelters from bad situations and adopted by me! They are my two oldest and would love to help pets in need, just like them!
Pepper was found wandering the streets at just 6 months old and was put on a rural euth list but luckily she was transferred and immediately and then I fell in love! Pepper is now 10 years old and just had to have her eye removed due to a mass, but it came back negative for cancer luckily!
Ranger was found locked in a shed with other puppies at 7 months old. The shed had no clean water, no food, they had no human contact, and were barely hanging on. He was transfered and treated for ringworm and mange. No one could get near him, but when I went to do adoption photos, we locked eyes and I knew he was the love of my life! I opened the kennel door and he was in my lap snuggling and I took him home! He is now about to be 7 and struggling with a pre-cushings diagnosis. He has battled with nervousness his whole life, except with me, but is a little better meeting new people now.
We're thrilled to be participating in Richmond Animal League's Calendar Contest, a fundraiser where every dollar raised will support pets in need!
We are very passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Additinonally, every dollar = 1 vote for my pet to be featured in RAL's 2026 calendar!
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
- Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for standing by us in this effort. Your support means the world to me, Pepper, and Ranger!
