Hi! I’m Eliza, and I’m 11½ years old.

This is my dog, Clementine (or Clemmy as we call her)! She’s a 4-year-old mix of Labrador Retriever and German Shorthaired Pointer. We adopted her from a rescue in Alabama, and we’re so happy she’s part of our family.

We also share our home with Charlie, a goofy rescue Goldendoodle; Polly, our semi-feral cat; and Millie — my wild baby sister! Our family loves animals, especially rescue dogs. We’ve fostered many pups over the years and love giving them a soft place to land while they wait for their own loving homes. My favorite fosters were Libby (from RAL!) and PJ (from Lab Rescue).

We aren't fostering right now (because of wild Millie) - but I still get to spend time visiting with the cats and dogs at RAL when I visit my mom at work. I love getting to meet the pets that come to RAL and spend time at the shelter and in foster homes. Here are a few of my favorites.

This year, I’m super excited to be part of Richmond Animal League’s Calendar Contest! Not only could Clementine win a spot in the 2026 calendar, but this contest also helps raise money for animals who really need it.
