I first met Queenie while helping a shelter partner walk their dogs and taking photos they could use for social media. I didn't know her background; I only knew she was very timid, skinny, and loved getting attention.  I couldn't stop thinking about her and was super grateful to be able to bring her to RAL the following week.  

She quickly gained weight and blossomed into an adorable dog, whose tail constantly wagged.  It is very hard not to get attached to any dog, but she was just something very special.  She had a sleepover at my house and loved playing outside.  I feel she is a wonderful example of how RAL helps pets in need, and the reason I love being part of this organisation, and I wanted her to be part of this fundraising effort. I hope everyone who reads this story agrees with me and donates.
