We “fostered failed” Roxy just over two years ago now, but it’s hard to remember a time before our bundle of love and goofiness was around! One day, RAL texted saying they had a small dog that needed a quiet place to stay while prepping for a hip surgery — miss ‘Foxy Roxy.’ That week, we picked up this little lady with a recovering ear infection, strict dietary restrictions, patchy fur, hot spots, skin inflammation, and mobility issues due to her hip dysplasia. She would frequently “bunny hop” around on three legs; yet she was still the absolute best girl, and we bonded instantly. Roxy did so well during her surgery that she was ready to return home with us later that day — I knew then that she was home forever. Now she’s livin’ the good life, sweeter, sassier, and fluffier than ever!
