Campership Challenge 2019

Every year since 1988 Children's Cancer Connection has been dedicated to providing week long residential camp for children diagnosed with cancer living or treated in the state of Iowa. We also provide an identical week of camp for siblings of children diagnosed. At Children's Cancer Connection we believe in serving the entire family, for the entire journey! No one is ever charged any amount to come to camp and we work year round to make sure we can provide a magical experience for our campers!

I have been attending Camp Heart Connection at oncology camp since I was 5 years old. I have been lucky enough to find my best friends, my second home and my family there. Once I graduated from high school I knew I didnt want to stop the jouney of camp so I became staff. This year will be my 5th year on staff at camp. I love returning and being able to spend a week at the best place on earth. This camp means so much to me and everyone there. They have given me and my whole family so many resources and support throughout my cancer jouney and after into remission. I always want to give back to this organazation that means so much to me. Please help me in giving back to this organazation that has helped shape me into the person I am today and has given me the most amazing experiences. Help other kids like me be able to have the same experiences I had and be able to spend a week being a normal kid. Thank you for donating and taking your time to read this.
