Campership Challenge 2019

Hello! Thank you for visiting my Camp Heart Connection Campership Challenge page! This will be my 2nd year as an oncology camp counselor for Camp Heart Connection! Oncology camp is a week for children who are currently or who have gone through cancer treatments. It's a week for them to participate in things that a normal kid who is not diagnosed with cancer gets to! At camp we have horse back riding, campfires, a swimming pool, rock climbing and so much more! Sounds amazing, right?? The best part is that camp is COMPLETELY FREE for kids to attend. We are so thankful that we are able to make camp an opportunity for ALL kiddos affected by cancer to be together, not just those that could afford to send their kids off for a week. However, to make this amazing week long camp possible, we rely on donations from people like you! Every year since 1988 Children's Cancer Connection has been dedicated to providing week long residential camp for children diagnosed with cancer living or treated in the state of Iowa. We also provide an identical week of camp for siblings of children diagnosed. At Children's Cancer Connection we believe in serving the entire family, for the entire journey! No one is ever charged any amount to come to camp and we work year round to make sure we can provide a magical experience for our campers!


