WOW! This is our 30th year of Camp Heart Connection! How AMAZING is that! Every year since 1988 Children's Cancer Connection has been dedicated to providing week long residential camp for children diagnosed with cancer living or treated in the state of Iowa. We also provide an identical week of camp for siblings of children diagnosed. At Children's Cancer Connection we believe in serving the entire family, for the entire journey! No one is ever charged any amount to come to camp and we work year round to make sure we can provide a magical experience for our campers! 

As a past Oncology Camper, I want to share with you how much camp has changed my life! I have made lifelong friendships simply by attending Camp Heart Connection. Camp is a safe place where nobody stares and everyone cares. It is such a magical place that I have made LIFELONG memories at. This is exactly why I want to give back! 

The GREAT thing about Children's Cancer Connection is that we serve the ENTIRE family for the ENTIRE journey. So we are able to offer Sibling Camp as well! This is a great time for the siblings of children diagnosed with cancer to be able to have a week DEDICATED to THEM! We have the same programming offered at both Oncology and Sibling camp. How MAGICAL is that! 

Camp Heart Connection is held at the YMCA camp in Boone, IA. While camp is available at no cost to our families attending, there are my costs associated with camp. In honor of the 30th year of Camp Heart Connection - I have set my fundraising goal at $4,000.00! This will cover the costs to send an entire cabin to camp!
