Campership Challenge 2018

Every year since 1988 Children's Cancer Connection has been dedicated to providing week long residential camp for children diagnosed with cancer living or treated in the state of Iowa. We also provide an identical week of camp for siblings of children diagnosed. At Children's Cancer Connection we believe in serving the entire family, for the entire journey! No one is ever charged any amount to come to camp and we work year round to make sure we can provide a magical experience for our campers!

CCC has always been a huge part of my life. After my sister was diagnosed with Leukemia at a very young age, they were there by our sides every step of the way. They do amazing things for families with children with cancer. I personally attended sibling camp in august for 9 years and was a staff member at oncology last summer. I am hoping to volunteer my time for a whole week to spend time with the strongest and bravest kiddos I know. It amazes me how fearless some of these kids are despite everything they have been through. They definitely have a special place in my heart.
