Hi!  I’m thrilled to be participating in the Alumni Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Camp Wyandot, and I am asking for your help! 

I’m passionate about Camp Wyandot because of the profound effect this enchanting place/experience has had on my life and so many others.  From lasting self-acceptance to inspiring a career as a high school math teacher to heart-filling lifelong friendships and oh yeah--meeting my partner of 34 years!  I have witnessed countless "misfits" becoming an integral part of the magical mosaic that is Camp Wyandot, young people choosing a career in the nature/environmental field as a direct result of falling in love with camp, and scared homesickness on Sunday turning into boundless joy and attachment by Friday! 

The sense of community and teamwork revolving around immersion in nature is immensely powerful in creating confidence, acceptance, and inner peace.

Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause...not to mention--I am taking the challenge of Alumni Challenge to heart!
