REGISTER

  • Register for Cincinnati AIDS Walk + 5K Run: Mystery Edition as a runner or walker. You can choose more than one course—we even have the option of doing a 5K every day!
  • Take a short quiz to find out which Greater Cincinnati 5K course fits your personality.

DISCOVER

  • Find out your route when it’s unveiled in your 5K packet days before racing week! Event materials including mystery route and t-shirt can be picked up at Caracole. You may also choose to have your packet and t-shirt mailed to you for an additional charge.

PARTICIPATE

  • Participate any time between Sunday, May 17 and Sunday, May 23 and track your efforts on your preferred app or device to qualify for medals and prizes.
  • Send us your time—a screen shot of your timing device or app—and we will award medals in our established categories via the honor system. Time must be sent to hello@caracole.org by Monday, May 24 at 12PM EST.  
  • Winners will receive a medal and prize in the mail after the event AND will be listed on our website and social media channels. 

BE SOCIAL

  • Post photos to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #StarttoFinishHIV and tag @wearecaracole. We’ll share these in an album during and after the event.

Recent Activity

Race Options:

  • One 5K course, two 5K courses, four 5K courses and seven 5K courses—choose whatever works for you!
  • Any course can be completed anytime between Sunday, May 17–Sunday, May 23 (to qualify for prizes)!

Registration Includes:

  • Event t-shirt and Caracole swag bag!
  • Mystery packet containing information on your 5K route(s).
  • Personal fundraising page to increase your impact!

Packets will be available for pick up from Wednesday, May 12- Friday, May 14 from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM at Caracole's Northside office. Additional evening hours will be available on Wednesday, May 12 until 7:00PM.

* Cost includes shipping and handling. Packet will be mailed to address used for registration.

Medals and Prizes

There is a total of seven mystery courses for this year’s event.

The top runners for each route and in each category will receive a $25 gift card and an unique finishing medal. Categories include:

  • Male
  • Female
  • Nonbinary

Winners will receive their medal and prize in the mail after the event and will be listed on our website and social media channels.

All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. 

Each course will have an unique t-shirt color. Please register by Friday, April 23 to ensure your color and size will be available. We will do our best to accomodate your size and color if you register after this date, but it is not guaranteed.
