Newton Cardinals Football players are raising funds to help their program succeed in the new year. Instead of selling frozen foods or coupon books we wanted to try something new and have a positive impact on the community and so we are hostng the 2020 CARDINAL FOOTBALL DAY OF ACTION on Aug. 22.
What is the CARDINAL FOOTBALL DAY OF ACTION? Coaches and the team have developed a "positive Impact a thon" during the first where the team will go out and spend a day working in the community they live and play in. Instead of jumping rope or walking in circles this fund-a-thon will be the team going out and serving those in need in the community of the first DAY OF ACTION on Aug. 22.
Your donation will help sponsor a player's day of good deeds from mowing lawns and cleaning gutters for elderly to working in the city parks, helping nonprofits with man power and muscle to cleaning up roadside trash.
Each player will be asked to participate and work to raise money for their team and the program, and in return for your donation we will PAY IT FORWARD with a DAY OF ACTION helping Newton's elderly, nonprofits, those in need AND the community as a whole!
We hope you will join in our efforts to improve our program and our community and support our players as they work to raise funds and improve Newton by serving during the CARDINALS FOOTBALL DAY OF ACTION!
