For years I had participated in the Relay for Life walk in memory of a little girl that went to the same daycare as my son.  Cancer did not care that this little girl was under the age of 4, did not care that she was adorable. 

Then My best friend from college past away on March 15, 2011.  Debbie had survived breast cancer so we thought.  By the time Debbie was diagnosed, the cancer had spread to her brain, stomache, and other places, there was no stopping it.  At the age of 40 I stood back and watch cancer take the life of my friend, leaving behind a beautiful family.  This horrible event is what started our group walking in this event. 

Cancer struck again in my cousin, sister in law and mother in law and co-workers.  Cancer just has hit way too close to home and I am here to help fight it!
