I asked Tiffany to share her story with me but not just me the world; of her new norm, her everyday life and how this awful disease has affected her.  Below is her story and she is the reason why I am walking October 20th. Hello uterine cancer support friends. Thank you for including me in this group. Although I don’t think anyone wants to be here, I do feel lucky to have this type of additional support. In fact, right now this is my only support, so I appreciate it more than you know. My name is Tiffany and I am 43 years old. I am married with two beautiful children ages 24 and 10. I have a passion for working out at the gym and have participated in several bodybuilding competitions. Once I am healed, the first thing that I plan to do is hire a coach and get back at it. I am a home-improvement addict that has been known to have several projects going on at once. I work in the finance industry in the Chicagoland area where we focus on funding the American dream (mortgage loan).

I was diagnosed with uterine high-grade serous carcinoma on May 3, 2019 discovered through a uterine ablation biopsy. I had a total hysterectomy with lymphadenectomy on May 22, 2019 which turned out to be stage 1 contained to the uterus. I meet with my wonderful oncologist on Monday to determine treatment options. I am currently trying to let my body and emotions heal so I can be strong enough for the next phase. June 10th I was told I needed chemo and radiation.
