Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston demonstrates the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel in a loving, confidential atmosphere. We are committed to upholding the truth that God creates human life in His image at conception.

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston has three locations, one in Champions, one in Cypress, and one in Humble.  We are celebrating 33 years in ministry as a 501(c)3 organization.  In that time, we have served over 37,000 women from our community.

Our vision is for us to live in a community where all women choose life.

My Care Net Story

I am proudly a third-generation Care Net Pregnancy Center-Houston partner! My family legacy began with my grandfather who was on the board of directors here at Care Net. His service and dedication to this ministry and mission lead several of his children and grandchildren to follow. Both of my parents volunteered different services in the last 2 decades with my mom being one of the first peer counselors that met regularly with clients when the Cypress center opened. 

In 2019, my personal journey in this ministry began. I didn't know what God was calling me to do but I felt His guidance and my mother's encouragement to seek out a volunteer role at Care Net. By simply entering client data for a few hours each week, I was blessed by being a small part of this ministry. To see God's hand in providing support to the women and men in our community was more of a benefit to myself than I could've ever expected.

Early 2020, I came on staff at the Cypress center as a part-time receptionist, just in time for COVID to hit. While the safety changes made my new job more complicated, it was incredible to watch God bring more and more clients despite the pandemic. The women in our community still needed help, some more than ever before. And we were blessed to keep our doors open throughout all of it.

When I finished my undergrad in the spring of 2021, I stepped into the role of managing our Life Enrichment Program (LEP). The events of 2020 forced all of our parenting classes to go online. God used this change to reach more and more clients as we saw the program grow with more classes being taken than ever before. 

My current role I was welcomed into in the summer of 2022. Moving over to the Champions location, I am now our Marketing and Communications Manager working downstairs in the Administrative suite. I've had the privilege to work on projects including our Fall Fundraiser, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, and our Walk for Life.

God made my calling to Care Net Pregnancy Center very clear, but has kept me malleable. I have learned a lot about the ministry and with every step, I see the complete dedication to doing what God has called us to do. To demonstrate Christ's love in word and deed to every person that walks through our doors.
