Caring Chefs is Jacksonville’s signature fall fundraising event for Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS). Bringing together community leaders, partners, supporters, and Jacksonville’s finest chefs and restaurants, we raise critical funds for cradle-to-career programs supporting children and families as they break generational cycles of poverty and trauma. As a community, we open doors to opportunity, leading to lasting stability, educational success, and brighter futures.
Returning to the iconic Deerwood Castle, this memorable venue celebrates a new era of impact and elegance while honoring our shared history and deep community roots. Guests will enjoy a curated selection of food and beverage tastings, exclusive auction experiences, and meaningful opportunities to connect with our mission to strengthen families and empower children across our Jacksonville community.
For nearly 125 years, Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) has evolved to meet the changing needs of children and families. What began with a focus on foster care and adoption has grown into a bold, statewide movement to address root causes of poverty and expand opportunity. Today, through our cradle-to-career Community Impact Model, we’re reimagining what “home” means — and building brighter futures for children and families across Florida. No matter their ZIP code.
