We're proud to be fundraising for ParkinsonLife Corporation in honor of Carl Hall, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and community leader whose life was defined by service, generosity, and resilience.
Carl Hall lived with courage, purpose, and an unwavering belief in community. During his 14-year journey with Parkinson’s disease, he refused to let the diagnosis define him, choosing instead to face each day with resilience, optimism, and determination.
Long before his illness, Carl was a respected business and community leader whose work helped shape the places where people lived and came together. He later served as King of the Krewe of Neptune and helped found the InterKrewe Council, leaving a legacy rooted in connection and civic spirit. His personal experience with Parkinson’s inspired his support of pdLIFE, a nonprofit dedicated to improving quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s and for the families and caregivers who walk alongside them.
The Carl Hall Challenge honors a life marked by perseverance, leadership, and generosity. Through this event, Carl’s legacy lives on—not only in memory, but in meaningful action that supports pdLIFE’s mission and the people it serves.
