Through Yulista CARES, myself and my 2 kids have volunteered at the Downtown Rescue Mission since 2017. My son spent his 11th birthday there helping feed the residents. It is important to me to teach them to be kind to others and give back to the community.  

In 2018 I began helping coordinate Yulista CARES' participation in the Downtown Rescue Mission's events to raise money/food to support their cause. We raised food donations for the Fall Food Bank, manned booths at the Run4Rescue Glow Run, and sorted clothing in the store on campus. 

Carts4Hearts is just one more great opportunity to have some fun, make connections, and show out a little, all while raising funds/food for a great organization.
