About Me

Thanks for looking at my page!  I'm am part of the team- VUMC Consultant Crusaders.  Our team has been part of a Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Minors workgroup for the past 6 years.  Part of what we do daily is to help to identify trafficked youth in our area through the use of assessments.

When I'm not working, I am spending time with my family, my boys soccer, and my many pets ?

Helping to identify youth who have been, are being, or at risk for being trafficked is very important to me.  Had I known what to look for earlier, I may have been able to help a youth I was working with.  Tragically she was sold by her family... at 12 years of age.  Once I learned this, I began educations myself and learning all I could.  As a VUMC Mental Health Consultant, I found a nook when I could help to make a difference.
