Anna’s Sunflower Warriors Foundation is a nonprofit inspired by Anna’s generous spirit and desire to support children facing pediatric cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. During her own treatments at Albany Medical Center’s Melodies Center, Anna found joy in giving—bringing snacks, crafts, and holiday gifts to fellow patients and caregivers. Her favorite project, the candy cart, continues to brighten days at the hospital. Established after her passing in August 2022, the foundation now honors her legacy by providing comfort, gifts, and support to families in need, while remaining active in the local community and school district.
In honor of Anna’s giving heart, Capital Cup for Kids supporters are encouraged to bring an item from Anna’s Sunflower Warriors Foundation wish list to the event. Your donation will help bring smiles, snacks, and joy to children receiving care—just as Anna would have wanted.
