The Pinky Swear Foundation assists families facing cancer with financial and emotional support. This includes grants for stable housing, reliable transportation, utilities, food and weekend getaways so they can focus on what’s most important: their child battling cancer. This cause has become a deep passion of mine over the last 5 years and has motivated me to commit to something bigger and more meaningful in an effort to impact more children and their families.
On July 28th, 2019 I will be racing a full IRONMAN triathlon competing in a 2.4mi swim, 112mi bike ride & finishing out with a 26.2mi run.... And what better way to do it than racing for all the children who can't. An Ironman has been a long time goal, and for many it seems crazy - but then again... so is cancer and all that it entails.
In addition to the Ironman I plan to race with an All-Star at the Minneapolis Lifetime Triathlon on July 13th, 2019. If we are lucky enough to find an All-Star who is able to compete with me in the race, I will be pulling them in a boat, towing them on the bike and pushing them on the run all while we raise $25,000 for Pinky Swear. That’s a 1,500m swim, 24.5mi bike ride & a 6.2mi run…. TOGETHER!!
16 years ago Mitch Chepokas made a pinky swear promise with his Dad to always help children with cancer and their families after he was gone. Help me raise $25,000 to continue that Pinky Swear Promise.
