Dear Friends,
Child and Family Service (CFS) has been providing hope to Hawaii families and children for 123 years. The organization supports those who are facing life's most difficult challenges by providing social services, community resources and a safe secure place to heal and recover.
If you are wondering who is impacted by your donation, the families and children who come to CFS have typically experienced 4 or more of these traumas within their immediate family unit.
- Verbal abuse
- Physical abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Neglect
- Food and clothing insecurity
- Divorce
- Physical abuse of a family member
- Drug and alcohol abuse
- Depression or suicide
- Incarceration of a family member
There are many of us who have experience with or have experienced some of these. With the support of our loved ones and community, HOPE is the defining factor that has allowed us to push on, face adversity and ultimately come out thriving on the other side. Pay that hope forward.
