Aanii / Hi

Let's come together to retain and grow Indigenous languages in Canada!

That's the goal behind Challenge4Change - the action-based, fundraising program designed to provide tangible results and lasting change.

June is the month to celebrate National Indigenous history in Canada, but did you know that Indigenous languages are disappearing at an alarming rate? As the number of fluent speakers rapidly declines, so too does the ability to speak the language.

There are very few reconciliation initiatives that we can champion together - as individuals and organizations. Language is one of them.

Join Challenge4Change today, make a donation, become part of a fundraising team and, with the free app, have fun learning a few common words and phrases in Anishinaabemowin.

Every donation helps. The work has already begun, but we need your help to reach our goal!
