Join Team Murphy, led by NFL Player Louis Murphy, Jr, as we support our Healthcare Heroes who hard work each day on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic to save lives in our community.  The funds raised by Team Murphy will benefit the Community Health Centers of Pinellas Foundation and support various programs of the Louis Murphy, Jr. 1st Downs 4 Life Foundation that provide young people with the fundamental tools to excel in life through athletics, education, leadership and service.

The mission of Louis Murphy, Jr. 1st Downs 4 Life Foundation is to empower and inspire youth by providing opportunities that assist them in making positive choices.

Overview:

While longing for someone who had “made it” to come back to the neighbor, give some advice, and answer some important questions, Louis Murphy Jr., saw his mother consistently serve the community and generously show love to youth who, in many ways, did not have guidance in their lives.  Louis vowed to God, his late mother, Filomena Murphy, and himself, that when he did make it, he would come back and lend a helping hand. This is what 1st Downs 4 Life™ is all about, making sure the next generation has some tangible examples and valuable instructions to help them get to the next level in their lives.

Louis Murphy, Jr. 1st Downs 4 Life Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides the next generation of young people with the fundamental tools to excel in life through athletics, education, leadership and service. The 1st Downs 4 Life Foundation team is dedicated to providing opportunities that inspire and positively impact the life of a child who has a parent impacted by breast cancer.
