Ellie's Story

For my 30th birthday, I am fundraising in memory of my beautiful little cousin, Ellie, who was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).

Ellie was the sweetest, happiest little girl with the biggest smile. From the very beginning, she showed incredible strength and was a true fighter. 

On December 5, 2025, Ellie went into the arms of Jesus at just two years old. Her love for butterflies will always remind us that even the smallest lives can leave the biggest impact.

I am raising money for The Children’s Heart Foundation in Ellie’s honor to help support research for children born with congenital heart defects and to give future Heart Warriors the hope and chance at a healthier life.

The Children's Heart Foundation was founded in 1996 and is the country's leading organization solely dedicated to funding congenital heart defect (CHD) research. 

Our mission is to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.
