Why I Plunge

Lydia's Polar Plungers on Sunday, March 5, 2023 will be participating in the 2023 Chicago Polar Plunge, celebrating more than 20 years of plunging!  We am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump in to Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of athletes that participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. My sister in law Lydia lost her battle to Melanoma 2 years ago. Among the MANY things I learned from her, one thing she taught me was to push myself past my comfort zone! 
 

There are three easy ways to support my plunging efforts:

  2. Join my team and take the plunge with me at North Avenue Beach on March 5, 2023
