The first annual Chapel Hill Biscuit Festival will be held October 24 & 25 and will feature a children's biscuit baking class at the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals! The children will have a premium, hands-on experience where they stay busy and walk out with a biscuit mix, a chef's apron, and a goodie bag. This class is for kids between 8 to 12 years old with only 50 slots available.

The class will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026

Scheduled to be a 2-hour class:
Starting off with the Savory Southern Biscuit
Going into the Sweet Drop Biscuit
Packing up a Take-Home Pantry Mix
Feasting on a Biscuit Bar filled with local honey, molasses, and jams
Finally, loading up fresh biscuits into a box-to-go with their beautiful mason jar pantry mix
