Dear friends and family,
This summer from July 1 - July 16, I will be traveling to Uganda in partnership with an incredible organization called ChildVoice International. ChildVoice International is a non-profit that seeks to restore the livelihoods of children and communities affected by war in the region. Specifically, I along with a team of several others will be working at CVI's Lukome Center near Gulu in Northern Uganda for two weeks. There we will live side-by-side with the women and children who are part of the educational and therapeutic programs CVI provides.
This trip requires me to raise $3,300. This amount will cover airfare, lodging, food and any projects I or my team will participate in with CVI. So if you feel compelled, I would appreciate it incredibly much if you can contribute $10, $25, $50 or $100+ to help me reach my fundraising goal. To do so, simply click the Donate Now button in the upper right hand corner.
Finally, "Why are you doing this?", you might be wondering. I'm going to Uganda this summer because I believe it is important for me to step outside my home, to care for the people of this world who suffer and rejoice through life in ways that I cannot begin to comprehend yet. I know two weeks is incredibly short but I'm excited to see what's in store.
Thank you for your support! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Best,
