Ruth Raskin passed away in her home in Scarsdale, NY on September 23, 2024, with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife to Ken, a wonderful mother to Jocelyn and Allison, and beloved grandmother to Bella and Vienna. Ruth was also an accompished and gifted photographer. Her legacy will live on through her love and her art. 

While we don't know how Ruth contracted CJD, we do know how deveastating it is for familes. We welcome all donations to the CJD Foundation, which provides resources to affected families and promotes research that will hopefully lead to a cure for this devastating and underfunded disease.
