Lori was diagnosed with CJD in June 2024. She spent the next year and a half fighting this disease as it slowly took over her mind and body. During this fight Lori kept a good attitude and fought to continue to do the things she loved even though the disease made her life very difficult. On September 16, 2025, Lori slipped into a coma where she remained until she passed on September 25, 2025. CJD is a very rare disease and not a lot is known about it and there are not any treatments available. Please donate to the CJD foundation so they can continue the research of this disease and help families in the future.
