Liz passed away at home surrounded by her family on March 25, 2026. She went to the hospital on March 10th after trying to get help from various doctors for help with dizziness and headaches she began having on February 26th. By March 13th, she was leaving the hospital to go home on hospice.  This disease can take someone from you so quickly, and we want to help support the research to help other families from experiencing this heartbreak. She had recently retired and was enjoying life with our Dad.  We are so grateful they had an amazing few months together traveling and were able to go on their dream trip to Italy before her passing.  We appreciate any support and even a share can go a long way with getting word out about CJD.
