My Writing Goals for the 2022 Clarion West Write-a-thon

Hello! My name is Nikita. I participated in the Clarion West Write-a-thon last year. During that time, I mainly fussed over a single story of mine, but I completed it and submitted it to my first magazine by the end of those first six weeks. I want to put more effort into this year's write-a-thon. 

BIG GOALS:

  1. To participate in the Flash Fiction Workshop (complete 6 short fiction pieces in 6 weeks)
  2. To finish drafting 2 short stories by the end of the six weeks
  3. To edit one essay, 1 shot story and 1 screenplay by the end of the six weeks

 

Smaller Goals:

 

Week 1

  1. Re-read and make edit notes on the short story Screams Along the Wire by June 22th
  2. Complete one flash story by June 23rd
  3. Finish the second draft of my Pride Month essay by June 25th
