Update, June 22nd: It has begun!

Thanks so much for all the support so far! I'm already closing in on the first draft of the first short story, and novel outlining continues.

Update, June 7th: Wow, thanks so much for the donations so far! It's much appreciated.

Last night I finished outlining a new chapter. The outline was about halfway done at the start of the write-a-thon so I'm hopeful that I'll not only finish it, but get started on the novel draft!

I also added a couple hundred words to the short story currently in progress, and am reminding myself that first drafts are almost always shitty. I actually think the writing's not bad, but I can tell already that I'm going to need to cut for length (a piece of feedback I consistently receive on shorter pieces).

On we go!
