For our 6th straight year, the local WSP Bridge Group is heading into the woods to hike and raise money for a good cause. Similar to last year’s “COVID” edition, our hike is a little bit different …
- Keeping our Group Small: Mindful of COVID measures, we are limiting participants to just the WSP Bridge Group.
- Our Fundraising Focus: We are “keeping it local” and hiking to support the United Way “ClimbUP” challenge that runs from September 23-October 2. With the pandemic top of mind, this year’s campaign is focusing on (1) food security; (2) connecting seniors; and (3) supporting kids and youth.
- Our Hike: This upcoming Saturday (October 2), our team is hiking an 8km circuit of Burnaby Mountain. A little steeper (250m gain) than last year’s trip around Burnaby Lake! The mid-point coffee at SFU should fuel us. Route map below.
