We are thrilled to be part of the 10th annual Climbing for ROMP event!
ROMP is an amazing partner working to bridge the gap for people who cannot access prosthetic care. Climbing for ROMP is about coming together as a community to help others get mobile. "Climb" and "mountain" are metaphors for ROMP's fight for prosthetic care for all.
Their largest community hike this year is happening right here in Colorado and we want the Hanger Community to SHOW UP strong to support this initiative! Please come join us, enjoy a day in the mountains, and bring your friends and family!
Colorado Climb Details:
Location: Winter Park Resort (85 Parsenn Rd, Winter Park, CO 80482). Free parking available.
Date: Saturday, September 7th
Time: 10am community start time - meet at bottom of gondola!
Trail: Ute Trail (2.1 miles one way, 1600 ft elevation gain. Option to take the gondola down!)
Who: Everyone’s welcome - family, friends, coworkers, etc! Please feel free to invite others to join us! Dogs on leash are welcome too. If someone is unable to hike, there is the option to ride the gondola and cheer the team on from the top!
Post-Hike Celebration: 4pm to 7pm Come join us for a beer and food at Vicious Cycle Brewery in Fraser after the hike! Everyone’s welcome to join.
Our patient, Stevie Crawford, will be attempting to beat a Guiness World Record that day of vertical feet climbed by doing 4 or more laps UP the Ute Trail. Please come join him and our crew for a lap and cheer him on!
