May Is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
Help us help others!
Commemorate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by helping us raise money. In addition to helping offset the rising costs of the Charlotte Dragon Boat Race and Asian Festival, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Charlotte Rescue Mission.
Small gifts can make a big difference. We encourage you to enlist the support of your famlies, friends, and co-workers to help us celebrate the Asian-American community in greater Charlotte—while contributing to a worthy cause! The fundraiser ends on June 30, 2018.
Charlotte Rescue Mission has, for over 80 years, been serving people struggling with addiction, poverty, or hopelessness with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.
Charlotte Rescue Mission's free, Christian, residential, 120-day drug recovery program teaches its residents not only how to cope with staying drug and alcohol free, but also how to manage the life scenarios that can trigger relapse. The program completion rates are twice the national average.
