I’m grateful to be participating in Cure CMD's 2026 Giving Campaign, a fundraiser supporting Cure CMD! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Two of the sweetest boys, Randy Gene and Waylon, were born with LMNA Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. In 2024, Andrew Michael (their dad and one of our dearest friends) started running races and raising money for Cure CMD. In November 2024, he completed a half marathon and raised over $20,000 for Cure CMD! On the morning of December 6 he was out running and was hit by a car, suffered a major spinal cord injury, and is now paralyzed. Andrew and Chelsea have overcome so much over the past 7 years and their strength and courage to keep on keeping on is inspiring. While I hope he gets into racing in his wheelchair in the future, I'll be running races to support Cure CMD. Last November I be ran the Savannah half marathon and this April I will be running the Nashville Marathon. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
