Did you know that on average, a person experiencing homelessness walks 10 miles a per day to access food, shelter, transportation or just to stay safe on the streets?!!

I am a board member of the Central Outreach & Advocacy Center (COAC) in Atlanta and am participating in challenge that puts us “In Their Shoes” (those experiencing homelessness) and helps raise money for the COAC, whose mission is to open doors to overcome and prevent homelessness.  I am reaching out to ask you to join my team as we take on the 10 mile Challenge to help us raise money for the COAC.

The COAC has been diligently working over the last 25 years to provide integral services that often go overlooked but are necessary for self-sufficiency and stability such as: birth certificates, IDs & Social Security cards, Social Seckurity income & disability i assistance, job readiness programs and mail service for unsheltered guests.
