September is coming up fast, and I will once again be riding and fundraising in support of research into treatments, and one day a cure, for neurofibromatosis (NF). Research to date has yielded exciting new, more effective treatments. These have often been superior to, and less toxic than, older treatments involving chemotherapy and radiation. Funding this research is imperative. The funds I raise support NF Northeast’s high-impact programs—providing direct support, strengthening advocacy, and advancing this cutting-edge research.
