Colorado Barn Party

Dust off your hat, shine your boots, gas up the truck and join us for the annual Colorado Barn Party. This year’s event promises to be a memorable evening with family and friends. Join us on a late autumn afternoon to celebrate the remarkable human-canine bonds that have transformed lives.

The Colorado Barn Party is newly imagined and better than ever. It will be held at the Deer Creek Stables at Chatfield Botanic Gardens, October 4th from 4 -7 p.m. and will include free admission to the gardens for you to wander before joining us for cocktails.
You will have a chance to mingle with graduates and hear first hand the remarkable human-animal connection empowered by the Canine Companions mission.

This event benefits Canine Companions and our mission to provide greater independence to children, adults and veterans with disabilities through the help of an expertly trained service dog, free of charge.

 

Our guest speaker is Skyler Artes, PhD. She is the principal of Evergreen High School. Inspired by the response of our Canine Companions’ dogs to their school shooting, she received her own Facility Dog, Noreen. Hear the story of hope and resilience and celebrate the power of our own Canine Companions community.
