I am a part of College Mentors because nothing compares to seeing the smiles on these kids' faces when we spend time together. many of the students we work with come from underprivileged schools where they don't always have the chance to do fun activities, creative projects, or just have someone to look up to. I am lucky enough to have a little buddy, and over our time together, I've started to see him like a younger brother. Being someone he can rely on, cheer him on, and show him how much I believe in him truly means the world to me. Whether we're making crafts, playing games, or just talking about life, I know these small moments make his week- and they absolutely make mine too. It's experiences like these thag show me how important it is to keep this program going, so we can continue bringing smiles, support, and encouragement to even more kids who deserve it.
