College Mentors for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps to connect elementary age students with college students to help inspire growth and confidence. As a new member of this organization, I help with this process and not only create connections with my little buudy in particular, but also with other little buddies and mentors.

My litttle buddy Karson is such a great kid. Not only does he listen and follow rules, but he is smart, kind, caring, and responsible. When my days or week sometimes feel overwhelming and exhausting, getting to see him, and have actiivity time with him in our groups (packs) helps me to destress. These weekly activties have allowed me to develop a mentoring relationship with Karson and understand more about his interests, likes, and his life in general. This relationship alllows me not only to understand more about Karson, but also allows me insight into his perspectives about life and help him with issues that he may encounter through providing problem solving techniques.
