Hello, my name is Charlotte Marinier. I am a junior at NC State who is a mentor in the College Mentors for Kids NC State Chapter. College Mentors for Kids connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, teamwork, and brighter futures.

I enjoy volunteering because I get to spend time with my little buddy each week and participate in fun activities with other mentors and buddies. I also enjoy learning alongside my buddy about careers, culture, diversity, and community service. Not only do we like exploring our world together, but my little buddy helps me grow as a person too. This program helps me to give back to my community, and I'm learning important leadership skills in the meantime.
