Welcome to my page. My name is Ishaan Buddharaju, and I am a freshman studying Computer Science at Purdue. Across numerous activities and times in my life, I've been fortunate to have incredible mentors who have shaped me into the person I am today. I strongly believe in the impact even just one good mentor can have on anyone's life, so I volunteer as a mentor in College Mentors for Kids to give back and pay homage to all the mentors I've been fortunate to have. 

College Mentors for Kids connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. I enjoy volunteering because I get to spend time with my buddy who, in his words, "is the silliest goober." Not only do we explore together, but I've learned just as much through this mentorship as my little buddy has. The program helps me to give back to my community, and I'm learning invaluable leadership skills in the meantime.
