Welcome to Team Torino's Community Link Buddy Walk® fundraising page! We are walking in memory of Steve Timmermann and Kenny Jansen. These two were BEST friends! They were brave. They were strong. They changed minds. They changed lives. They changed hearts. They made us laugh. They gave us hope. And brought each of us to a place where we will never be the same because we knew them. God most definitely worked through them, and He will continue to through their legacies. We also walk to show support for all individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to ensuring that every individual has opportunities for growth and independence. Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services offered by Community Link. 97.5% of money raised stays in our community. The National Down Syndrome Society receives 2.5% for advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome. Steve and Kenny both worked at Community Link and lived in a CILA. They greatly benefited from the services offered.
