Communication Counts Walk/Run

Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center will be hosting our 2nd Communication Counts Walk/Run on Sunday, May 23, 2021 starting at 1pm.

This year, we are hosting a hybrid event that allows participants to Walk Your Way- in-person following current safety guidelines at McAlpine Creek Park or in your own neighborhood.

Participants who register are elligilbe to win some of our amazing prizes this year! We will be giving prizes to the Captain with the Largest Team, the Individual who Raises the Most, the Team that Raises the Most, our #1 Fan (awarded to our top social media fan), and the Most Spirited Team!

With your support, we can reach our goal of raising $25,000 to continue to provide the gift of speech and hearing throughout the Charlotte community.

During this year's event, we are excited to host our first Kids Dash! (suggested donation $5 per child) Kids will dash towards the finish line beginning at 12:45pm and the walk will begin at 1pm. Each child who participates will receive a balloon and participation ribbon. You may register your child in advance or on Walk Day. To pre-register, simply click the "Donate" button on the top menu, select your donation amount, and type "Kids Dash" in the donation message. On Walk Day we will only be accepting online donations (Venmo, text-to-give, credit card).
